The Pendil Novices <a href="/sport-horse-racing/competition-jump-racing">Jump Racing</a> is an exciting and highly anticipated <a href="/sport-horse-racing">horse racing</a> event that takes place at <a href="/stadium-kempton-park-racecourse">Kempton Park Racecourse</a> in February each year. This Grade 2 National Hunt race is specifically for novice chasers and has a distance of two miles and four and a half furlongs. The race was named after the legendary chaser, Pendil, who won the race back-to-back in 1972 and 1973. With a prize fund of £30,000, this race has attracted top-class horses and jockeys since its inception in 1988.
