The Many Clouds Steeplechase, also known as the Many Clouds Chase, is a Grade 2 National Hunt horse race held at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, England. Staged in December, the contest is run over approximately three miles and one furlong, with runners tackling 19 fences. It is open to experienced steeplechasers aged four and older, and often attracts horses aiming to establish their credentials for major staying chases later in the season. Unlike team sports, the event is contested by individual horse, jockey and trainer combinations, with race tactics, stamina and jumping ability all playing a decisive role. The race honours Many Clouds, the popular steeplechaser who won the 2015 Grand National at Aintree. Its demanding trip and testing fences make the contest a notable fixture on the British National Hunt calendar and a useful measure of a horse’s staying form. For fans searching for Many Clouds Steeplechase results, race details or Aintree horse racing information, the event offers a compelling meeting of leading jump horses and skilled jockeys on one of Britain’s best-known racing courses.
