The JCB Triumph Hurdle is a Grade 1 horse-racing event held on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire, England. It is contested by four-year-old novice hurdlers, with each horse, jockey and trainer aiming to win one of the season’s leading juvenile hurdle races. Run over approximately two miles and one furlong on Cheltenham’s New Course, the race features 12 hurdles and a demanding uphill finish that tests speed, jumping accuracy and stamina. The field typically includes promising British and Irish horses, and the race often offers an early indication of which juveniles may progress to top-level hurdles in later seasons. JCB has sponsored the event since 2011, and the race is widely known by its full title, the JCB Triumph Hurdle. As part of the Cheltenham Festival programme, it attracts strong interest from racing fans, bettors and visitors following the leading trainers, jockeys and horses. Results, race-day runners and betting markets change each year, so current entries and confirmed participants should be checked against official race information.
