The FIG World Cup is an international gymnastics series organized under the authority of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), bringing elite athletes together at events held throughout the season. Unlike team-based competitions, World Cup events generally focus on individual gymnasts representing their countries, with results decided by performance on specific apparatus. In artistic gymnastics, women compete on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise, while men compete on floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. The series also includes separate World Cup competitions in rhythmic and trampoline gymnastics, each with its own events and scoring rules. Competitions take place at different venues around the world rather than at one permanent stadium; host arenas are selected by the FIG and local organizers for each event. Depending on the discipline and competition format, gymnasts may earn medals and ranking points that contribute to the season standings or qualification pathways. The FIG World Cup offers fans an opportunity to follow leading international gymnasts, compare performances across apparatus and track results from one host city to the next. Schedules, athlete entries, venues and official results are published for each edition.
