The Marrakesh E-Prix is a Formula E electric-car race held on the streets of Marrakesh, Morocco, at the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan. The temporary street circuit is located near the city’s Agdal district and features a mix of tight turns and faster sections that challenge drivers’ precision, energy management and overtaking skills. The 2.971-kilometre layout has 12 turns and is named after Morocco’s former king. Unlike a race in a permanent stadium, the event uses a closed public-road course, with spectators watching from grandstands and designated viewing areas. Teams and drivers vary by season; past competitors have included Envision, Mahindra Racing, DS Techeetah and Venturi, alongside leading Formula E drivers such as Sébastien Buemi, Antonio Félix da Costa and Edoardo Mortara. Mortara won the most recent Marrakesh E-Prix, in 2022, driving for Venturi. The race has been part of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship calendar at different times since its 2016 debut, bringing international motorsport to Morocco and showcasing the championship’s electric racing technology. For fans searching for Marrakesh E-Prix results, venue information or Formula E history, the event offers a distinctive city-street racing setting.
