The Park Stakes is a Group 2 flat horse race held at Doncaster Racecourse in South Yorkshire, England. Run over seven furlongs on the straight turf course, it is open to horses aged three and older and forms part of Doncaster’s September meeting, staged alongside the St Leger Festival. First run in 1965, the race is an important late-season test for sprinters and milers, bringing together established performers and improving horses seeking a prestigious victory. Unlike team sports, the Park Stakes has no fixed teams or roster: each runner represents its owner, trainer and stable, while jockeys compete aboard individual horses. The field changes each year, with entries and declared runners announced ahead of race day. Doncaster’s long, straight track places emphasis on speed, stamina and effective positioning, making the closing stages especially compelling for racing fans. For the latest Park Stakes information, follow official race declarations and results for details of the horses, jockeys, trainers, race conditions and finishing order. The event’s combination of top-level competition and a prominent place on the British racing calendar makes it a notable fixture for horse-racing followers.
