The Team Cup is a men’s professional golf match-play event featuring two ten-player teams: Great Britain and Ireland and Continental Europe. Created to bring leading European golfers together in a Ryder Cup-style contest, it gives players the chance to compete in team formats, including foursomes, fourballs and singles matches. The 2025 edition was held from January 10 to 12 at the National Course at Abu Dhabi Golf Resort in the United Arab Emirates; golf courses do not have a conventional stadium, and this championship course served as the event venue. Justin Rose captained Great Britain and Ireland, while Francesco Molinari led Continental Europe. The Continental Europe team won the 2025 contest by 17 points to 8. The event followed the inaugural edition in 2023, then known as the Hero Cup, and continued the tradition of a European team competition designed to build camaraderie and match-play experience. Fans searching for Team Cup golf results, teams, captains, players and venue information can follow the competition’s official updates and tournament coverage.
