The Singapore Classic is a professional golf tournament staged in Singapore as part of the DP World Tour, bringing international players to compete on one of the city-state’s leading courses. The event debuted in 2023 at Laguna National Golf Resort Club, with tournament play held on the venue’s 18-hole Classic Course. Unlike team-based sports, the Singapore Classic is an individual stroke-play competition: each golfer aims to complete the course in the fewest strokes, with the field typically contesting four rounds and a cut after 36 holes. The inaugural title went to South African golfer Ockie Strydom, while Sweden’s Jesper Svensson won the 2024 edition. The tournament’s DP World Tour status attracts established professionals and emerging talents from across the international golf calendar, offering fans the chance to follow a varied field in a competitive setting. Laguna National’s championship layout, tropical conditions and strategic design make course management an important part of the contest. For golf followers searching for Singapore Classic results, player information, tournament format or venue details, the event provides a notable stop on Singapore’s professional sports calendar.
