The Ras Al Khaimah Classic was a professional golf tournament on the DP World Tour, held from February 3–6, 2022, at Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Unlike team sports, the event featured an international field of individual professional golfers competing in a 72-hole stroke-play format. The championship course, designed by Peter Harradine, provided a coastal setting and a demanding test across four rounds. England’s Ross McGowan won the week before at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, and the Classic followed as the second DP World Tour event at Al Hamra in consecutive weeks. New Zealand’s Ryan Fox claimed the title with a tournament total of 22 under par, finishing five strokes ahead of the nearest challengers. His victory was a notable result in the 2022 DP World Tour season and highlighted the course’s potential for low scoring while rewarding consistent play. For golf fans researching the Ras Al Khaimah Classic, the event is associated with elite international competition, Al Hamra Golf Club, and the growing profile of Ras Al Khaimah as a destination for professional golf.
