The ISPS Handa Championship in Spain was a professional golf tournament held from April 27 to 30, 2023, at the Lakes Course at Infinitum in Tarragona, on Spain’s Costa Dorada. Part of the DP World Tour, the event brought an international field of individual golfers to compete over four rounds of stroke play; it was not a team competition. The course, set among Mediterranean landscapes and lakes, provided the tournament’s venue rather than a traditional stadium. English golfer Nathan Kimsey claimed the title after a playoff with Finland’s Sami Välimäki, following both players’ completion of regulation play on 18 under par. The result marked a major achievement for Kimsey, who secured his first DP World Tour victory. Other notable competitors included Spanish players Jorge Campillo and Adri Arnaus, giving local fans a strong home contingent to follow.
