The DP World Tour1 Championship was a professional golf tournament on the DP World Tour, staged in Spain from 5 to 8 May 2022. The event took place at Infinitum Golf’s Lakes Course in Tarragona, Catalonia, a coastal venue known for its water features, strategic bunkering and challenging finishing holes. Unlike team sports, the DP World Tour1 Championship was an individual stroke-play competition, with players seeking the lowest total score over four rounds. The international field included Spanish golfer Adri Arnaus, who won the title after a playoff against South Africa’s Oliver Bekker, as well as competitors from across the DP World Tour. Arnaus’s victory made the tournament a notable occasion for Spanish golf fans and added a home winner to the event’s history. The championship offered spectators the chance to watch elite professional golf in the Costa Daurada region, while the Lakes Course provided a demanding test of accuracy and course management. Golf followers searching for DP World Tour1 Championship results, players, venue details or DP World Tour information will find the event closely associated with Infinitum Golf and its Lakes Course.
