Sailability Championship Explore the latest Sailability Championship information from British Keelboat League at your fingertips

The Sailability Championship is a competitive sailing event that showcases the skills, teamwork and determination of sailors with disabilities. Organised through the Sailability movement, the championship typically brings together club teams and individual competitors to race in accessible boats, with event formats and classes varying by location and edition. Rather than taking place in a traditional stadium, races are held on a suitable lake, harbour or coastal sailing course, where wind, water conditions and course layout shape the competition. Sailors may compete solo or in crews, supported by trained coaches, volunteers and race officials, while accessible facilities help participants prepare and take part. Results are decided on the water, with race placements contributing to overall standings and championship awards. The event offers an opportunity to follow inclusive sailing, learn about adaptive equipment and recognise the athletes who compete at different levels of experience. For current information about teams, competitors, race schedules, results and the host venue, check the organising club or championship’s official event updates, as these details can change from year to year.
