The ATP Cup was an international men’s team tennis tournament organized by the ATP, bringing national teams together to compete for the title. First held in 2020, the event featured leading players representing their countries, including stars such as Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev. Each tie generally consisted of two singles matches and one doubles match, with team points determining which nation advanced. The tournament combined individual ATP rankings and national pride, giving fans the chance to watch top-ranked players compete in a team format. In its early editions, matches were staged across Australian host cities including Brisbane, Ken Rosewall Arena5 and Sydney; the 2022 competition was held in Ken Rosewall Arena3. Ken Rosewall Arena, located in Sydney Olympic Park, served as the main stadium and hosted key matches, including the final. The ATP Cup ran from 2020 to 2022 and was succeeded by the United Cup in 2023, which introduced a mixed-gender team format. For tennis fans researching ATP Cup results, teams, players, schedule history or stadium details, the event remains a notable chapter in Australia’s summer tennis calendar.
