Event of the Day: UEFA European U-21 Championship Final

The event of the day is the UEFA European U-21 Championship Final between Germany and Spain. Two European giants collide at the Stadion Cracovia in Kraków for the Under-21 title. Germany are aiming for their second U21 triumph, whereas Spain are seeking a record-breaking fifth title. Spain cruised into the final after a convincing 3-1 win over Italy. Germany needed penalties to beat a stubborn England side to book their place in the final, Felix Platte and Davie Selke scored the goals in regular time before the shoot-out. The Aegon International Eastbourne is at the semi-final stage for both the Men and the Women. There are two One Day International games with the West Indies battling India and Sri Lanka taking on Zimbabwe. There is a double header in the NRL, Gold Coast Titans welcome St George Illawarra Dragons and Brisbane Broncos play Melbourne Storm. In the AFL, Sydney Swans travel to the MCG to face Melbourne.
