Event of the Day: THE PLAYERS Championship Day 2

Our event of the day is Day 2 of the Players Championship from Sawgrass in Ponta Vedra Beach, Florida. The unofficial 'fifth major' is truly one of the great four days in the golfing calendar. With a field featuring all the biggest names in the sport and an incredibly picturesque course, it will be compelling viewing. Keep an eye out for the iconic par 3 'Island Green' 17th.

Honourable mentions go the European Challenge Cup Final between Gloucester and Stade Francais, Game 6 of the Celtics v Wizards series with the Celtics hoping to close the deal in DC, a great AFL game with 4th Placed West Coast Eagles hosting 5th Placed Western Bulldogs and Chelsea can be crowned Premier League Champions against West Bromwich Albion with a win in the Friday night game at the Hawthorns. However, some exciting golf from Florida should be thrilling. Enjoy.
